Abstract
In the tuberculosis of bone and joint, five clinical syndromes have been recognized. They are spondylitis, peripheral arthritis, osteomyelitis or dactylitis, tenosynovitis or bursitis and Poncet's disease. The tenosynovitis of the wrist is very rare, and can be diagnosed by not plain film but post-contrast MRI and operative finding. The authors described the case which was tenosynovitis of the wrist with the subluxation of the distal radioulnar joint. This case was not combined with pulmonary tuberculosis and confirmative diagnosis of tuberculosis could be made by culture and pathologic findings. Satisfactory result was obtained by synovectomy, curettage, drainage, ORIF with K-wire and antituberculous medication for 1 year.
