Abstract
We report a case of 65-year old female with sequential avascular necrosis (AVN) of the scaphoid and the lunate. Collapse and fragmentation of the scaphoid was advanced, but the AVN of the lunate appeared recently developed. This observation means that AVN of the scaphoid and the lunate occurred sequentially and that AVN of the scaphoid probably led to lunate involvement.
