Abstract
Entrapment of the flexor tendon after fracture of the distal radius is rare. This report describe entrapment of the flexor pollicis longus (FPL) tendon and ulnar nerve palsy simultaneously following fracture of the distal radius. We couldn’t find report of entrapment of the FPL tendon and ulnar nerve palsy simultaneously following fractures of the distal radius in English literature. For diagnosis of entrapment of the tendon even though careful examination is important, both initial intact nerve function does not exclude nerve palsy. It should be treated with suspicion. Early surgical decompression was successful in cases. Therefore care should be taken in the follow-up.
