Abstract
A pediatric patient who presented unusual carpal tunnel syndrome was studied with ultrasound and MRI examination. Ultrasonography showed diffuse high signal fatty infiltration into the nerve fascicles, and MRI demonstrated spaghetti appearance of the median nerve in saggital and coronal cut. Intraoperative and histologic findings confirmed lipofibromatous harmatoma of the median nerve. Ultrasound, MR images and histologic findings of this entity are presented.
