Abstract
Osteochondroma which occurs in the carpal bone, is very rare. We present the case of a 57-year-old man who complained a protruding mass and mild pain on the dorsum of the wrist. Plain radiographs, and 3-D computed tomographs showed a extraarticular bony mass on the dorsal aspect of his left trapezoid. It was resected and confirmed histologically as an osteochondroma. Osteochondroma of scaphoid or capitate has been reported in the literature, however, we could not find any report on that of the trapezoid.
