Abstract
Distal radius fracture can be associated with tendon injury. we woud like to report a case of entrapment of the extensor pollicis longus tendon in Smith’s fracture. The extensor pollicis longus tendon was not ruptured and entraped between the fracture surface. We relocated it in the original position and perfomed a corrective osteotomy. When we reduce the fracture of the distal radius, if the reduction is not possible or not acceptable, prompt open reduction and exploration should be considered.
