Abstract
Plantar fibromatosis is a recognized form of Dupuytren's disease but it is an uncommon manifestation of Dupuytren's disease. Most lesions are found as nodules in the non-weightbearing midsole region of the fascia, and remain asymptomatic until they become large enough to cause pain from pressure while standing. Unlike its counterpart in the hand, toe contracture has almost never been observed. We experienced one case of plantar Dupuytren's disease with nodule and without toe contracture. This case shows that in patients with Dupuytren's contracture in hand are should be peformed, careful physical examination the whole body especially the foot, penis, hip, neck, antecubital fossa, and popliteal fossa, because the Dupuytren's disease can be a wide spectrum condition.
