Abstract
The subcutaneous rupture of flexor tendon was rare in the hands of patients without rheumatoid arthritis, Nevertheless it has been well documented in the literature, such as attritional ruptures by fracture, nonunion, malunion and congenital bony abnormalities of carpal bone and distal radius and various diseases. We are reporting the case with subcutaneous rupture of flexor digitorum profundus and flexor digitorum superficialis tendons of index finger due to repeated acupunctures on volar aspect of wrist for treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.
