Abstract
Intraosseous schwannoma is an extremely rare, benign neoplasm. Only four cases of intraosseous schwannonma involving the bones of the finger have been reported: the distal phalanx of the index finger, the proximal phalanx of the thumb, the proximal phalanx of the ring finger, the middle phalanx of the ring finger. But none of these cases has involved proximal phalanx of 3rd finger. We describe an intraosseous schwannoma in a 29-year-old patient that affected the proximal phalanx of the middle finger.
