Abstract
Intraosseus epidermoid cysts are rare and they occur frequently in the distal phalanges of the hand. They are thought to result from epithelial implantation by trauma. Differential diagnosis includes enchondroma, osteoid osteoma, glomus tumor, aneurysmal bone cyst. We expierienced two cases of intraosseus epidermoid cyst in the distal phalanx of the hand. Curettage and cancellous bone graft were performed, and the clinical result was satisfactory. So we report two cases and review the literature.
